4. Death of Gessler ;
5. The Swiss cheer their Liberator.

This popular and interesting legend takes place amidst the country life of the mountain population. The beautiful and picturesque sights which exist in Switzerland have given us an opportunity of utilizing the resources our theatre affords and our scene-painters have been able to have a free run on their imaginations and have completed the work by a series of magnificent scenes of the most artistic character. Le cadre si pittoresque et si grandiose des sites de la Suisse nous a permis d’utiliser les ressources dues à l’agencement tout particulier de notre théâtre. Nos décorateurs ont pu donner libre cours à leur imagination en brossant des décors merveilleux qui viennent compléter l’oeuvre en lui donnant un cachet tout à fait artistique.” ; Note 2  : Le Catalogue mentionnait l’existence d’une notice spéciale illustrée expédiée sur demande.
